What we build
Residential, commercial and industrial masonry, from a single hearth to a full seawall. We pair time-tested methods with modern materials and equipment so the work holds up to salt air, wind and freeze-thaw.

New chimneys and historic restorations, flashed for Cape Cod wind and rain and sized so the flue draws properly.

Fieldstone walls, stone wishing wells and one-off pieces. If you can design it, we can build it.

Bluestone treads, fieldstone stairways, brick and cobblestone aprons laid to handle New England freeze and thaw.

Every repair is different. Tell us what's cracking, leaning or leaking and we'll call you back the same day.
Seawall construction & repair
Seawall repair takes different materials, additives and methods than a garden wall. With more than 40 years on Cape Cod waterfronts, we know what it takes to build stone that stands up to the water.

A Cape Cod chimney detail
Where a chimney meets the roof is where Cape wind and rain find their way in. For center chimneys we install Chatham pan flashing, a leak-proof system formed in lead, lead-coated copper or copper and crafted to each chimney.

Make sure your mason is licensed and insured.
Many small contractors are underinsured or not insured at all, which can leave the property owner liable for damage or injury on the job. If a mason can't show you both, ask why.

Questions
Anything else, ask Steve directly. He'll get back to you the same day.
Yes. Steve holds Massachusetts Construction Supervisor license #059847 and Home Improvement Contractor registration #126014, and the company is fully insured. Ask any mason you're considering for both — an uninsured contractor can leave the homeowner liable if someone is hurt on the job.
We work hand in hand with town and state officials, including building inspectors, the Department of Natural Resources and local Conservation Commissions, and with marine contractors and engineers on complex jobs.
